- Hi, I am Mrs. Murrell and I teach 5th grade at Bethel Elementary. My class is known as Murrell's Magicians. I love teaching 5th grade because they have a great enthusiasm for learning and having fun. When I am not teaching I am a mother of 3 children (who are all grown), and I also have one grandson, who is 1 year old. Although I grew up in North Carolina, I have been living in South Carolina for 22 years so I consider it my home. I graduated from Elon College, then graduated from East Carolina University. Later I received my Masters degree from Furman University.
